Workshop contents:

Solution-focused systemic counselling is an effective counselling approach for a large variety of client-facing settings, especially in short-term contexts. This workshop focuses on practical tools participants can implement in their own fields straight away. Clarity about what goals clients hope to achieve, how counselling can support them and what we as counsellors can contribute is essential. To achieve a shared understanding with a client on these points is one of the most crucial steps in working with them. It will, therefore, be a central theme of the workshop, in addition to other solution-focused systemic techniques. This intensive weekend will offer plenty of input and practical tools as well as numerous practice and feedback opportunities.

Prior knowledge of solution-focused interventions or systemic counselling in general is advantageous but not required. This workshop is open to anyone working as a communicator in a professional capacity (e.g. therapists, counsellors, coaches or similar).
